For this personal project, I wanted to test our some thicknesses and engineering constraints when it comes to 3d printing figures in UV cured resin. I used my Dungeons and Dragons character as a base for this and had a lot of fun doing it! Between client work I concepted, sculpted, articulated, sliced, printed, and painted Burri.

I learned a lot on this journey, some highlights being the fragility of uv resin for joints, the limited tolerance regarding flexibility and what that will mean for future printed figures, how vital print orientation is to prevent warping on the precisely engineered parts, and seam management.

I'll be taking all that I learned and applying it to projects to come.
